Kevin Epp is a letterpress printer based in Saskatoon on Treaty 6 Territory, dedicated to the hands-on, analog craft of relief printmaking.
With over a decade of experience in commercial printing during the 1980s and ’90s—and encouragement from his family—Kevin developed a lasting appreciation for mechanical presses and the slow, deliberate process of working with type, ink, and paper. His prints celebrate the physicality of printmaking, where material, process, and message come together in meaningful ways.
In contrast to the fast pace of digital media, his work invites reflection and connection through its tactile, intentional nature. Collaboration plays a vital role in his practice; he frequently partners with artists, educators, and community groups to create pieces that reflect shared stories and collective voices.
For Kevin, letterpress is more than a printing method—it’s a way to preserve history, honor craft, and build community.
